Lucia Roşca


Lucia Roşca is the fashion brand of independent designer Lucia Alexandra Roşca and was established in 2016, in Bucharest, Romania. Known for its ready-to-wear line and custom bridal wear, the fashion house opts for a quiet, yet glamorous, modern design and focuses on color, unexpected textures and fine fabrics. Lucia enjoys working closely with her clients, elaborating exquisite custom-designed pieces in her cozy studio in downtown Bucharest.

Lucia’s inspiration comes from her personal life, which gives her designs a very emotional appeal, and varies from the struggles of every young woman trying to find her place in the world, to family loss, dealing with anxiety, love, and recently motherhood. Her background in communication makes each collection feel like a coming-of-age, involving both exploration and resolution.

The brand’s designs have graced the covers of Şapte Seri and the Festival de Cannes red carpet, and has been featured in ad campaigns for Musette and The 5th element shoe brands, and in local editions of Marie Claire, Elle, Şapte Seri, Forbes Life, and Beau Monde Mirese, but also abroad, in Atlas Magazine and Trend Prive Magazine. Her subtle romantic dresses have been embraced by young actresses Florentina Năstase, Miruna Blidariu and Maria Popovici, digital entrepreneur Ana Morodan, TV presenter Amalia Enache, film critic Ileana Bîrsan and writer Ana-Maria Caia.

In 2015, Lucia co-founded Picabu, a hip clothing label, for which she acted as Creative Director and managed its brand image, and in 2018, was a finalist in the Feeric Competition for Young Designers, in Sibiu, Romania.
